Privacy Policy

Last updated June 12, 2026

The Wisdom Workshop exists because people trust each other with what matters. That trust extends to your data. This policy describes what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

1. What we collect

Enrollment information: your name, email address, time zone, and whatever you choose to share in welcome conversations and intake forms.

Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

Session content: live sessions on Zoom are recorded for the benefit of enrolled participants. Recordings, transcripts, and field notes contain what you say and share in session.

Correspondence: emails you send us, scheduling data via Calendly, and responses to forms (e.g., the Co-Creative Partnership application via Google Forms).

2. How we use it

To run the programs you enrolled in: scheduling, session recordings and field notes for your cohort, 1:1 coaching, certificates of completion, and community connection features like the Synchronicity Select. To improve the curriculum, in aggregate and anonymized form. And to write to you — which you can opt out of any time, with one click or one reply.

3. Session recordings, transcripts, and consent

Recordings and transcripts are shared only with the members of your cohort and are never made public. Nothing you write, say, or share in a session is quoted publicly — in testimonials, newsletters, social media, or research — without your explicit, specific, and revocable consent. We will show you the exact excerpt before anything is shared, and a no is always honored without explanation. This is the same Hearth / Open Air consent framework described in our Terms of Participation.

If you later revoke consent for an excerpt already shared, we will remove it from everything we control promptly.

4. What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share your contact information with third parties for marketing. We never use your session content to train AI systems without your explicit consent. We never publish participant writing without permission — not even beautifully.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small set of tools, each governed by its own privacy policy: Stripe (payments), Zoom (live sessions and recordings), Calendly (scheduling), Google Workspace / Google Forms (documents and applications), and Substack (the newsletter, if you subscribe). We choose tools with reasonable security practices, and we share with them only what's needed for them to work.

6. Retention

Session recordings and transcripts are retained for the duration of your cohort plus a reasonable archival period for alumni access, then deleted or anonymized. Enrollment records are kept as needed for certificates, alumni pricing, and legal obligations. If you'd like your recordings or records deleted sooner, ask — we'll do it.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email woodstackrecords@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data rights (GDPR, CCPA, and friends), we honor the spirit of those frameworks for everyone, regardless of geography.

8. Children

Our programs are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Custom programming for teens, when offered, is arranged directly with schools and guardians under separate agreements.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, enrolled participants and community members will hear it from us directly by email — not discover it in a diff.

10. Contact
